Goerklintgaards Siljano – 2017 Imported Danish Warmblood Gelding Siljano is the ideal partner for an ambitious amateur, junior, or young rider. By Santos out of a Castro mare, this striking black gelding stands 17hh and has been thoughtfully developed. He is currently schooling Third Level with a solid show record through First, and has begun half-steps in hand. His three comfortable, balanced gaits make him a pleasure to ride, and he offers as much as you ask without being complicated. In the barn and off property, Siljano is a gentleman. He clips, loads, hacks, and turns out happily alone or with a friend. He has competed at venues including the World Equestrian Center, where he was easy to manage and reliable in every way. Dressage at Devon never fails to inspire. Watching the top of the sport in this country is a reminder of what’s possible when preparation and vision come together. This week I’m sitting with my horses and really thinking about 2026 - what foundation I’m building now so they’re ready to shine later. Success at the higher levels doesn’t happen by accident; it’s the result of daily choices, clear systems, and consistency. How do you break down your training plans?
